The Floyd Family Foundation believes in strengthening and improving the lives and futures of youth and families.

With our work, we will change lives, increase opportunities, and improve the futures of disadvantaged families.

We support community-led organizations to enhance and strengthen the lives of young people and families in low-income and disadvantaged communities.

We strive to recognize and understand the perspectives, feelings, and lived experiences of others, including and especially those most different from ourselves, and give one another grace.
We root ourselves in our shared humanity and treat one another with kindness and compassion. We are at our best when we honor the equal dignity and worth of all people — even in the face of conflict.
We believe in the value of healthy, lasting relationships between our foundation and the communities, and we will do our part to contribute to the communities we’re part of.
We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live their full potential, and that our communities are stronger when they are full of opportunities for people with diverse identities, backgrounds, and perspectives. We prioritize action over intention and are working every day to make our communities more equitable and inclusive.
We hold ourselves and one another responsible for ensuring The Floyd Family Foundation maximizes its impact, and we do what we say we will do.

The Floyd Family Foundation was formed in November 2021 by Vincent and Vianne Floyd and their daughter Veronica Floyd.

The Floyd Family has been rooted in giving and community since the 1940’s in Alabama before moving to Michigan.
